In this weeks podcast I talk about differences between the mind approach to your physical health and the inner voice approach, particularly around exercise and healthy eating.
This episode is all about The Self-Love Approach to Eating and Exercise.
My own approach is definitely changing as I am integrating the lessons I am learning, as I am releasing old mind patterns that do not serve me. They often come up to be cleared and released.
In the past I had a difficult relationship with my body. I did not love myself and I did not love my body, and I had an unhealthy approach to eating and exercise. I suffered from bulimia in my early 20s and although I healed the eating disorder, some of my limiting beliefs and thinking patterns would come up now and then.
Over the last year or so I put on some weight and I wasn’t feeling that great in my body (raise a hand if you put on weight during lockdown ✋). I also had this resistance to exercising I did not understand. I now know I was integrating the changes that were happening on the inside and I talked about it on Episode 7 of the Podcast how I have been balancing the physical and the non-physical.
After a massive release during the Soul Therapy training in June, I released that resistance on both the energetic and the physical level. Over the last few weeks I have been getting back into exercising and it feels great.
It was so interesting to notice though that I have been feeling so good in my body, but as soon as I looked in the mirror, my mind started judging my body and the old mind patterns started coming up.
Healing is cyclical and it can happen that the limited beliefs, mind patterns and emotional blocks that are related to them can come up in order to be healed and released for good!
I now want to move my body from a place of self-love. I want to exercise because I want to feel good in my body, not because I want to look a certain way. I want to enjoy moving my body.
I also want to nourish my body, support it, take care of it and enjoy what I am eating at the same time.
