Are you struggling to find balance in your life?
That’s something I’ve struggled with in the past and something I’m working on a lot lately is balancing the physical and the non-physical.
Often people make the mistake that they focus either just on the physical or just on the non-physical.
I experienced both extremes.
When I was struggling with multiple chronic health issues, at the beginning of my healing journey, I would mainly focus on the physical.
And after I went through a spiritual awakening, I stopped caring about the physical as much and was mainly focusing on the non-physical.
It’s very important to focus on both, to pay attention to both the physical and the non-physical and find balance between them, because we are non-physical beings living in physical bodies.
We are not just one or the other.
We are body, mind and soul.
When I first started dealing with my health issues in the past, I would focus a lot on my diet, changing what I eat, I was trying to heal my gut.
Only when I approached my healing holistically and started focusing on healing from the inside out, things started changing.
But after my spiritual awakening, especially after I connected to my inner voice, it was almost easier to focus only on the inside and stop focusing on the outside.
I would still do yoga or dance sometimes, I would go for walks and I would still eat healthy to a degree, but I had a lot of resistance to doing all of that and I wasn’t consistent.
I felt like what’s even the point taking care of my body, if it’s only an illusion?!
I was feeling a bit lost for a while.
I didn’t understand the messages I was receiving.
I would focus more on my meditations, my energy work, the connection to my inner voice, my soul, and I wasn’t focusing on my body very much.
Over time, I stopped feeling good in my body.
Today, I know now how important it is to find balance between the physical and the non-physical!
This realisation has taken a while for me though and I was struggling.
It’s been only quite recently that I have been realising more and more that I need to support my body more.
I have been supporting my body consciously and intentionally, moving my body regularly, taking care of my body and eating better, and I am feeling so much better overall.
It’s so important to both support the body and be aware that you are not the mind and connect to your true self.
You are an energetic being, living in this body, having a mind.
You are body, mind and soul.
