It as a popular belief in the holistic health realm these days that it is crucial to heal your gut when healing chronic health issues, such as autoimmune disease, eczema, digestive issues, allergies etc. We are told that your gut is at the root of most issues and that it is necessary to change your diet, eliminate gluten, dairy, sugar and any potentially triggering foods.
I have been there, got diagnosed with 111 food intolerances and sensitivities and tried a lot of different diets and nutritional protocols in order to heal my gut and my body and none of them helped me!
So many of my clients come to me after they have experienced the same. Depriving themselves, depriving their bodies, developing fear of food or even worse. Additionally, these “healing” protocols did not help them to heal their chronic illness.
Although your digestive system may play a role in your healing and it certainly is important to nourish your body, in order to heal, you need to go even deeper.
It is necessary to go beyond the symptoms and beyond the physical level and look for the real causes of your health issues.
